Bio: Born on July 17, 1949. Astrology fans make of it what you will. Currently a freelance writer and activist, focused mostly on grassroots homeless empowerment groups. I also facilitate StreetWrites, a workshop for homeless and low-income writers. I have published stories, articles and poetry, and also enjoy poetry performance -- even Slams. I am also one of the editors of Real Change, and we want poetry.

Bio: gretchin, who was never known to tap dance with fred astaire, didn't hitchhike across scotland for a year. she never single-handedly saved a small south american village from starvation by flying in on a biplane and dropping massive amounts of boston cream pies upon them. gretchin, in an act of heroism, never received a medal for rescuing a litter of piglets from a burning apartment building. she never stole a copy of "flatland" from a public library.

Bio: I am a senior living in a very active community in Florida. I like to write, paint, do genealogy research, play tennis and walk the exercise trail every morning. I am chairman of a writer's club here and we put on three cabarets a year featuring our member's work. I quit the tennis team and now I can give a little more time to painting, which I had abandoned for some time. I am a graduate of WriteLab (one of the best learning experiences around) and I look forward to a similar experience in poetry.
Bio: I'm a newbie writer living in Hulls Cove, Maine. By day I'm a computer programmer, and I play drums and teach martial arts. When I grow up I want to be Buckaroo Banzai.

Bio: Anthony Dauer is an irreverent hacker-wanna-be Information Analyst, with a teddy bear, and a job providing onsite support to the Naval Space and Warfare Command (SPAWAR). He is an artist who expresses his need to create in words, images, and computer code.
His first recognized work won second place in a writing contest sponsored by the Zephyrhills (Florida) Sun. Articles by Anthony have been published in the Zephyrhills Sun, and the Mayport Mirror. His poetry is published in Word Outa Buffalo, Intimate Thoughts, and Visions.
As well as designing and maintaining the CONSPIRE web page, he is the award winning web designer and webmaster of the Poeticus Furor CafÈ. He is also a proud member of the Sigma Chi National Fraternity.
Currently, Anthony is at work on his first novel.
