StreetWrites Chapbooks
Products created and marketed by homeless people themselves. Give two gifts for the price of one! Purchase a quality product, and the purchase price goes to improve the quality of life for people who are currently homeless.This page is provided as a service. I do not handle any orders or take any commissions myself. All orders and all proceeds go directly to the persons or groups listed as creating the books, t-shirts, arts, crafts and other products.

StreetWrites is a workshop for homeless and low-income writers, which does public performances and publishes its own chapbooks (booklets). Each book is $2. StreetWrites is a project of Real Change Homeless Empowerment Project, a 501(c)3 organization (federally recognized non-profit.) Proceeds from book sales go toward maintaining and expanding the StreetWrites program. StreetWrites may be booked for local Seattle Washington performances for $35 per performer (negotiable for group performances.) Proceeds from performances go entirely to the performers. | |

WHEEL (Women's Housing Equality & Enhancement League) is a non-hierarchical, member-driven group of homeless and formerly homeless women working to improve the lives of homeless women and end homelessness for all. Each year WHEEL publishes a book of the writing and artwork of homeless and formerly homeless women. Each book is $5. WHEEL is a 501(c)3 organization (federally recognized non-profit).
