I believe that the reflection of self can come in many forms - not only through works of visual art. I spend a lot of time thinking about the expansive nature of art, and just how it can manifest itself in such a multitude of ways. It can be in song, dance, painting, or story. Even the way we live can be regarded as art. My cultural background maintains these same beliefs. I aim to communicate a message through my art.

When I was young, I did something very brave. As a little boy, the praise and appreciation I received felt incredible to me. I will never forget it. When I make art, I feel something akin to that same positive and proud feeling.
