The first online group I joined was Phenomenal Women of the Web.
I had noticed the graphic on many sites I was impressed with,
and when I checked out PhenomenalWomen.com I was further impressed.
PhenomenalWomen.com is only part of Spyder's
Empire, Spyder being Nancy Imelda Shafer, a creative woman
of great energy, vision and generosity who has built thousands
of pages of information, resources, and community sharing. She
is an example of the people who really "created the Internet"
— and so are all of the Phenomenal Women, and the Phenomenal
Men.

keeps growing. I have contributed to Showcase,
the magazine; I have a block in the quilt,
I have a poem represented on the quilt, I have helped out at times
(as have many others) in maintaining the basic Phenomenal Women
of the Web Ring, and I am a member of several more of the group
web
rings. There is much more there for you to explore!
